Dr. Romi Mouhibian is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 30135) within the state of California. She specializes in working with adults, teenagers and children who are struggling with issues related to mood, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, interpersonal conflict, and intimacy. She provides individual, couple's and family therapy.

Dr. Mouhibian completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral internship at Nova Southeastern University, where her work focused on individuals who have experienced complex trauma throughout the lifespan, as well as on children and adults experiencing intense mood, anxiety and relational difficulties. She went on to complete her Post-Doctoral Residency at SHARP Mesa Vista Hospital in San Diego, CA. There, Dr. Mouhibian specialized in individual and group therapy utilizing evidenced-based treatment’s such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Therapy (ITP). Additionally, her graduate studies and personal ethics emphasized the pursuit of diversity training, and she is committed to practicing through a multi-cultural framework.

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Mouhibian earned her M.A. and Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University in Los Angeles. Her graduate school research and dissertation focused on the intergenerational impact of trauma on trauma survivors and their family members.
